Great White Sharks

Cameron is playing baseball this year. It is going much better than the soccer did. He seems to be enjoying it. His first game, he started on third base. The first 5 balls were hit to him and he did not move. Between innings, I told him he needed to get the ball whenever it is close to him. The next game went much better. The kids seemed to be going after the ball more. They get several pitches thrown to them and if they don't get a hit, they hit off the tee. Everyone gets on base and there are no outs. It's pretty cute to watch.

Fall Break

Fall break was a couple weeks ago and we managed to stay pretty busy. It was cooler here in the Valley of the Sun, so we were able to get outside some. We drove to Flagstaff for one day to visit Lily at NAU. We had a nice lunch and walk around downtown Flagstaff. Lily took the great pics above.

We went to the zoo and the kids had a great time playing at the splash pad and viewing the Keola's which are on exhibit for several months.
We spent lots of time at the park playing with friends, did some shopping and C and I went to Sea Life Aquarium, which C thought "was great." Overall, it was a nice Fall Break.

Christian at 9 months

Christian is so cute and chubby!

He just started pulling himself up.

He is getting into everything.

He's a pretty happy baby (as long as he isn't being overwhelmed by his brother and sister and his mom is giving him her attention when she is there)

He loves to get into the frig. Probably because he knows that's where the food is and he loves to eat!

I KNEW I Smelled Poop!

Chuck took the kids camping last weekend. As we were getting ready for bed last night, H was using the bathroom and as she was sitting there, she told me she pooped in her underwear while they were camping. I didn't really think much about it, just thinking she'd had an accident and thought I'd ask Chuck about it later, but I forgot to.

I picked C up from school today. We walked there and back and it actually rained on us, but that's beside the point. After we got home, we kicked off our shoes by the front door and I put his backpack down. As we were in that room, I kept smelling poop. I looked in baby C's diaper, nothing there. I checked the bottoms of everyone's shoes, nothing there. Not long after that, C said, "Mom, smell my backpack right here." It smelled like poop. He said Chocolate Brownie (his stuffed dog) also smelled. Sure enough, he did. I asked C if he had set his backpack down in poop and he said no (as if he'd know). So, not caring whether or not a backpack can go in the washer, I start taking everything out so I can wash it. And the first thing I find is H's underwear full of poop! Can you believe that? This poop got packed up and brought home. It was in the car (not mine) for hours. Then it spent the day at school with Cameron! I'm just glad it never fell out and that I discovered it! Well, I guess H did poop in her underwear. When I asked her about it, she said it was in the night and she just changed her underwear, put it in C's backpack and did not tell dad. When I told Chuck the story, he said she must have done it yesterday morning after he had gotten up because she came out of the tent shortly after him and had already gotten dressed. Unbelievable! And to put it in C's backpack when her bag was right there. I could die from laughter right now.
