February - Christian and Hannah completed the Spartan Kid's Race.
Cameron and Hannah went to California with the Honors team.

March - Cameron got to play baseball in the Spring Training home of the Los Angeles Angels.

April - All the kids made pine wood derby cars.

May - Cameron turned 14 and Hannah turned 12.

June - There was a lot of swimming, water and sun.

July - The boys went backpacking in CO for a week.  Hannah spent the week with her cousins in NM.  (She is over backpacking.)
We took a trip to SLC for my nephew's wedding, spending some time in Page on the way there are back.

August - The kids started back to school; Cameron 9th, Hannah 7th and Christian 4th.

September - We removed the French doors that went from our family room into Hannah's room and replaced it with a wall.
Hannah got to meet Chris Colfer.

October - The kids and I went to Disneyland.
Cameron completed his Eagle project (more on that to come).

November - Cameron was presented the Padre Award at the Football Banquet.
We all ran the Turkey Trot. (I will expound since I didn't do a post for this).  This was the 19th year Chuck and I have run the Turkey Trot.  Every year the 5K has started at 8:15am and the 10K at 9am.  Why would we expect anything to change,  especially since the mail in registration had those times?  So we were a little surprised to find out (at the start of the race) that ALL the races were starting at 8:15am.  The plan was for Chuck to run the 5K with Christian, me to run the 5K with Hannah and then Chuck and I would run the 10K with Cameron.  Cameron was on his way to the car to put our t-shirts in the car when we found out about the start times.  Chuck ran after Cameron so he could start the race.  Chuck took our shirts to the car and eventually he passed Hannah and me, Christian and caught up to Cameron.  Christian made it to the finish line on his own in 32:49.  I got Hannah mostly to the finish line before I ran a second lap.  She finished in 38:10,  Chuck and Cameron finished in 1:03:50.  We'll make sure next year to know what time the races start.

December - Chuck had a little bike accident on his way to work. (It was cold and dark).  He has no recollection of the accident but after receiving the police report, it appears that the unmarked 2 foot by 2.5 foot section of concrete that had been removed and replaced by sand was the cause.  He called me 4 hours after the accident and asked me to pick him up at the ER.  He had x-rays, blood work, CT scans, tetanus shot, etc.  He had a concussion, road rash and bruising to the face.  The rest of his body and his bike didn't have a scratch on them.  He took it easy for a couple days, but got right back on the bike.
