During Spring Break, we went to the pre-school playdate at Bounce U. Carson and Natalie went too and the kids had a great time. C threw a huge fit when it was time to go and then he did something to H that made her mad, so she threw a fit too. I left with both kids screaming.

Christian is 2 months!
I can't believe Christian is already 2 months old! He is growing too fast.! I don't remember my other two kids growing so fast. I'm sure I'm more aware of it with Chrisitan, because he's likely our last baby. And knowing that, it makes me want another one! At his 2 months check up, baby C was 12lbs 4oz (65%) and 23" (55%). He is just so gorgeous! Pictures can not capture the beauty of this baby. I love him so much!

Best Buddies/Best Friends
Cameron and Hannah are best buddies (the boys) and best friends (the girls) with Carson and Natalie, who, I've mentioned before, are also brother and sister. These kids adore each other! Cameron and Carson see each other just about every day. They go to pre-school together, church, and play group. The also did a clay class together and have frequent play dates. Hannah and Natalie see each other at church, art class, play group, and play dates. When Hannah sees Natalie, she will say, "There is my Natalie. My best friend, Natalie." Well, last week we received some sad news. Carson and Natalie are moving. The good news is, they are not moving far, so we will still see them often. Carson and Cameron were going to be going to different schools for kindergarten, as it was, so really the only difference will be they won't see each other at church. Natalie will be going to the same pre-school as Hannah and boy are they excited about it! Hannah keeps saying, "When I go to the Happy Apple, I go to the Happy Apple. And Natalie goes to the Happy Apple." It is so fun to see the kids develop friendships at this young age. Kids are so affectionate and forgiving.

Nursing
So, if you don't know, I am the biggest advocate for breastfeeding. I think it is so important for a number of reasons, both for mom and baby. But unfortunately for me, one of those reasons is not because it helps me lose weight, because it does not! Anyway...I get so frustrated when I hear things like, the baby wouldn't latch on, I didn't produce enough milk, etc. Because most of the time, those "reasons" are not valid or accurate. And believe me, I know how hard and challenging it can be. I struggled SO much (and pretty much hated it) with Cameron, but we endured and he nursed for 14 months. And during those months, I can't tell you how many times I was told to give up. There is very little support and encouragment of breastfeeding in the U.S. Hannah was much easier, partly because of all I had learned with Cameron, as well as her being a different baby. And Christian has also been very easy. As I have mentioned before, Cameron and Hannah did not nurse off the right breast. They started out there, but it was lazy and unproductive, so eventually I'd quite trying. I assumed Christian would be the same. But he started out so good and I got my hopes up! And now, he is a little slacker. So, it's back to the lopsided breasts for a good while. If that's not proof enough of how important I think it is! I just wish I knew what was going on. Chuck says it's because it's chocolate on the left and vanilla on the right, which would make sense, but is probably not accurate. I'm guessing that there are less milk ducts on the right and therefore, they don't get as much milk and get impatient. And as they nurse less and less, the breast produces less and less. But anyway...right now, I am feeling like I am nursing all the time! Baby C goes about 3 hours between feedings, which is not bad, but I still feel like I am nursing all the time. And although, it is more enjoyable at night because I don't have Cameron molesting him and Hannah crawling on me (that is literally what nursing is like for me when they are around), it is killing me to get up with him! I start to hear him tossing and turning and I think, no, no, please go back to sleep. But if there is one good thing about being exhausted all the time, it's that it takes me no time to fall asleep, which is where I need to be now...
Christian's Blessing
Christian was blessed on the 21st of February by his daddy, who gave a very nice, unique blessing. We were so happy and lucky to have both sets of grandparents, all my sisters, and Lily and Emma there.
You got to love pictures with kids! As well as shortly after having a baby (Rachel, where are you when I need you!)
