Junie B. Jones and the Stupid Smelly Bus Tour

Junie B. Jones was in town and we went to meet her. We have read two of her books: The Stupid Smelly Bus and Junie B. Jones is a Barber Shop Guy. It was a fun thing to do on a hot summer day!

Christian at 17 months

Another month has gone by (actually more than) and Christian won't stop growing! He is turning into such a little boy. He still spends a lot of time at my feet or on my hip, but he also loves to help and to do just what his brother and sister are doing. He loves snack food and M&Ms. He loves to play with cars and trucks. And he loves to push buttons. It is nearly impossible for me to take pictures, talk on the phone or brush my teeth with him around because HE wants to push the buttons. I know he understands everything and is very good at following directions. He still hates to have his diaper changed but loves to play chase. So, usually the diaper change starts out well because I am chasing him. Christian gets a little (or a lot) frustrated by Cameron's constant affection (aka smothering) and he lets C know. It doesn't change the situation, however. I can so relate, Christian! Christian is starting to run and will dance around the house when his brother and sister do. He is still as cute as can be and boy does he know it!

Christian wanted to help wash the car but he didn't have a sponge, so he just used his hand and was perfectly happy with that.

He is so adorable in the morning, but I couldn't quite capture it on film because he just wanted the camera.

Happy Birthday Chuck!

For his birthday day, Chuck wanted to do two things. 1. for for a 170 mile bike ride, which he did the week before his bday and 2. take the kids camping for 4 days. I had no problem with either, especially the going camping for 4 days. They got back on his (and H's) bday and we had a simple dinner. We waited until the kids were in bed to have dessert. Mostly because I was a little late getting the brownie bottom cheesecake made and it needed to refrigerate for longer.

Apparently, Durrant (he and his 3 kids also went) was teaching my son how to shoot a gun.

please note H's shoes

The kids watched the second Star Wars. Normally, Chuck is opposed to taking any kind of electrical device camping, but C started the Star Wars series last week and Chuck told him he could watch the second one the next weekend.
