Christian turned 2 on the 13th! We had pizza for dinner (I don't know that it's his favorite, but it's what he eats best) and pizzookie for dessert. He wasn't sure what to do with the candles, but he loved the cookie and ice cream! He got some shoes, a shirt, a train for his Geo Trax and a giant sucker. If you ask him how old he is, he might just tell you, two.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 cups butter softened
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 c granulated sugar
1 package (6 serving size/5.25oz) instant jello pudding & pie filling mix
3 eggs
5 cups quick cooking rolled oats
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (or raisins)
mix flour with baking soda. combine butter, sugars and pudding. beat until smooth and creamy. beat in eggs. gradually add flour mixture. stire in oats and chocolate chips. (batter will be stiff) place on ungreased cookie sheet. bake 375 for 10-12 minutes.
* I use 2 cups of chocolate chips and bake the cookies for about 8 min. Mine are probably a little smaller though.
