Sea World

While the boys were at Zion National Park, Charity and I took Hannah to Sea World. She loved the rides and would just giggle as she rode them. She refused to look at me and smile when I would take a picture and sleeping with her in a hotel room is absolutely miserable. But other than that, it was a fun trip.

Zion National Park

Over fall break, Chuck took the boys to Zion National Park. They camped, hiked, ran, biked and rode the shuttle. Cameron completed the Jr Ranger Program, which he was extremely excited about.

Christian at 21 months!

Our baby is no longer our baby! He has officially lost the baby look and is slowly losing the baby fat. But he is still too adorable! He is sleeping great! It is amazing how well he goes to sleep. We tell him it's time for bed (or nap) and he picks up his books, takes them to his room and puts them in his bed. He is eating like any normal toddler. He has quite the sweet tooth, which of course he comes by honestly. One of the most annoying things about little C at this point is he is always on my lap during meals. It drives me nuts! But I figure that is better than him not getting to join us for dinner. He still prefers me although he has a very strong affection for Charity. He is still always underfoot or nearby at the least. He is starting to talk a lot and can communicate quite effectively. His words include: bye bye, me, truck, juice, shoe, and probably his favorite word, jeep, hold. And he has a sentence, "I want that." He (just like Cameron) is obsessed with my jeep. He wants to ride in it all the time. Anytime he sees a jeep on the road, he will get so excited and yell, "jeep. jeep." He also loves motorcycles. He does have a "word" for motorcycle. It is a sound that sounds like it is trying to remove phlegm from his throat. He loves to be outside and finally it is cool enough that we can get out. He likes to look at books. Especially board books about cars, trucks, trains, planes etc. Quite often he will act like a dog. He will crawl around the house, bark, pant and crawl up your leg. I went to get him out of bed the other morning and he growled at me and than barked. We adore Christian and enjoy watching him grow and learn.

They Can Be So Cute!

Oh how I'd love a picture with all 3 kids looking at the camera and smiling, but this is about as good as it gets around here.

I had C working on his homework and when I came to check on him, he had put Chuck's reading glasses on and was seriously doing his homework.

Little C giving C some hugs. It really doesn't happen very often.

Happy 9th Anniversary!

I can't believe it has been 9 years! I am so in love with Chuck and love my life with him. I just wish we had more time to spend together!

For my anniversary present, Chuck bought me a 2012 dark green, soft top, Jeep Wrangler Sport! I'm not sure what possessed him to do that! I have always wanted a Jeep Wrangler, but I could never see myself buying one. They aren't very practical and I'm not really outdoorsy enough to justify it, but they look like so much fun! After receiving the jeep, I told Chuck I loved him and was very happy with my life with him and that he didn't need to "buy" my love. But he claims he was afraid that our second car, my Chevy Cavalier, was too unrealiable and he didn't like leaving me to drive it at times.
Chuck did not get anything nearly as exciting; just some peanut butter captain crunch and a pillow.
We were in Farmington on our anniversary for Darien's baptism. We were able to sneak away for lunch which we enjoyed at the St. Claire's Winery.
I have many many reasons why I love Chuck. He has a book that includes many of the reasons, but this year, there is one more I should add. He doesn't sit around for hours on end watching college or pro sports!
We sold the Cavalier in about 5 minutes after posting it for $1000. I bought the cavalier after graduating from college. It was a year 2000. I totalled it in 2004, but it was just body damage. We didn't fix it because we didn't think it would last as long as it did. But it was actually a pretty good little car and I was a little sad to see it go.
