Christian is 18 months
Christian is super adorable, super fun, super smart, super sweet and super frustrating at times. He loves to play with cars and legos as well as babies (whatever his siblings are playing with). He gets excited to see any type of animal and will try to chase birds and ducks. If you put music on, he will smile really big and start to dance. He acts as if it is the end of the world when he is put down for a nap or to bed, but he is asleep within seconds. He loves my attention and will stand on my feet if I am not giving it to him. He knows I have to pick him up when he does that. He has started to enjoy "reading". He will sit with books, babble and point. He will pat next to him, so I will sit down and read with him. He has become quite attached to two blankets. A huge afghan, made by Grandma Kitty, and a smaller baby blanket made by Grannie Annie. He always wants both of them. When he gets up in the morning, he picks them up and hands them to us. When he gets upset, he seeks them out. Christian is very concerned for others. One day, H was waking up for a nap and was calling for me. He jumped off the couch and ran to find her. If someone, is upset, he will go to them and pat them or give them a hug. But he is also learning to fight back. He is often having things taken from him and will go after the one who took it. I've probably mentioned it before, but he loves M&M's. I was picking the M&M's out of trail mix, when he wanted some. I put the bag in from of him and he picked out an M&M. I wanted to see if he'd just gotten lucky, so I put the bag in front of him again. This time threw a couple nuts back in and picked out an M&M. He is a pretty good eater, still preferring snack foods. He is weighing in at 27lbs and is 33 inches tall. That is about the 75% for height and weight. He is at such a fun cute age and I'd probably capture him in time if I could.

Reynold's Creek
Chuck took the kids (minus little C) backpacking for a warm-up trip before the big summer trip. They went to the Reynold's Creek area (NE Arizona) for 2 nights and 3 days. H walked the whole time. She took a pretty hard fall, landing on her nose, but she pressed on. They had a fun time and so did I!
