Fall Break 2014

The past couple of year, Chuck has taken the kids on an adventure for Fall Break and was hoping to do the same this year.  However, not only did he not get to take the week off, he had to go to Russia for the week.  But we survived and actually had a nice break.  We stayed busy with lots of play dates. At the end of the week, Charity went with us and we drove to Flagstaff.  We visited the Lowell Observatory, Sunset Crater National Park and Wupatki National Park.  The kids were surprisingly very well behaved the whole time.

Happy Halloween 2014!

For Halloween this year, Grannie Annie suggested that Hannah wear the bride costume she made years ago, probably for Charity.  Christian wanted to be Darth Vador, a costume we already had courtesy of Grannie Annie and Cameron wanted to be a prisoner (I think that is what he feels like at school).  So, Grannie Annie had the year off!  We went to our ward Trunk-or-Treat the Saturday before Halloween.  I told the kids they could go around ONE time and they actually listened to me. Christian, of course, had his performance/party at Preschool and on Halloween, the kids trick-or-treated around the neighborhood.  I was hoping to get a picture of my 3 with Raygan and Rylee, but Christian come home before the others and was immediately out of his costume.  Who can blame him?  It was 90 degrees or so.  Chuck dressed as Caillou complete with shaved head.  But not to worry, the hair grew back quick.

This is a picture from 2011 when Cameron was Darth Vador.  He was 6 years old.
